Creative Technologists: So what do we call ourselves?
Traveled up to NYC recently to interview, with Razorfish and Digitas among others. One thing i learned: learn what they call you before you go in. At Digitas “Interaction Designer” is the name of choice. This is NOT to be confused with “Interactive Designer.” Interaction includes wireframes, IA and the like. InteracTIVE is on the Flash development end. I had not been using the term Interaction designer to describe myself, as I had conflated this with Interative. It’s different. Same at R/GA. Good to know.
